The meaning of Tayo Cafe by Bien is strongly connected with the definition and the authenticity for the modern Filipino fusion that is the essence of Tayo Cafe.
On his path to pursuing culinary ambitions, Bien Solas-Causapin has a strong background in classical cooking ever since his journey from being raised in the Philippines, to moving in the UK and being inspired by his hard working parents. He continued his pursuit by studying in the local college and encouraged himself to join a culinary competition which he achieved first place in as: Philadelphia's young chef of the year 2012.
Since then, his business mentality grew as he became a restaurant manager fresh out of college and then helping his parents create a business where he found an opportunity to open a new chapter to start Food by Bien and opening Tayo Cafe by Bien and introduce a new authentic taste to Essex.
